I am John C. McKinney, Human Resource Director. Since joining Precious Plate in 2015, my vision has been simple: build a stronger company by building up our people.
I have spent my entire career right here in Western New York. Over the years, I have worked in a wide variety of public and private manufacturing companies. Each role taught me a different lesson. Today, I use those past experiences to solve problems and guide our team forward, but I also make sure to learn something new every single day.
My leadership style is built on trust and clear communication. I believe in leading by example. I focus on empowering my team through proper development, honest feedback, and real support. To me, true success is not defined by personal awards or titles. It is about trying your absolute best, creating a space where everyone feels valued, and always doing what is right.
When I step away from the office, I love spending a quiet weekend morning on the golf course. I am also a massive sports fan. You will always find me cheering for the Buffalo Bills, the Sabres, and my lifelong favorite, the Maize and Blue—HAIL!
